Why Therapy?

Mental Health

Mental illnesses affect everyone in some point in their lives. We most likely know someone who has experienced or is experiencing a mental illness. Unfortunately, the stigma around mental illnesses still exists in our society, which may make individuals hesitate to seek help for the fear of being unfairly judged.

Each person has different goals for therapy. Studies have shown that counselling has a number of benefits including: Attaining a better understanding of self, your goals and values, developing coping and interpersonal skills, improving communication, and changing old behaviour patterns and developing new ones.
